John Turner got to be the Star Student a couple of weeks ago. They make each student feel so special during their week! The first big thing that happens when you are Star Students, is that you get to take Lamar Bear home for the weekend. John Turner had been waiting on this day for a while now. Lamar Bear had a fun and exciting weekend with us! He even got to attend his first Alabama football game!
They also have to make a poster about themselves that hangs on a special board in their classroom for the week. John Turner and I enjoyed picking out pictures and decorating his poster!
Also, when they are Star Student they get to have special lunch guests one day that week. It was so special to get to eat lunch with him. Daddy even got to leave work and meet us there too!
