Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was full of fun for our family. Judson's little preschool class hosted a Thanksgiving lunch for the parents. When they walked in they were dressed in these cute little Indian costumes. They were each given a name to describe their personality. Judson was given  the name "Jolly Judson". That fits him perfectly! These two year olds were beyond precious!

That same day I went to pick up John Turner from school and I got another cute little Indian to bring home!

We decided to build a tee pee and celebrate being Indians!

I teach the two year old class at church on Wednesday nights. I have never in my life taught this age group. But I have just fallen in love with these sweet babies!

Judson and I had some alone time while the big boys were hunting so we took some fun pics!

Thanksgiving 2013

Catch-Up

John Turner got his first ever school picture taken. I just love it!

Carlton's family host a hayride and hot dog/marshmallow roast every year around Halloween. The boys had a blast this year!

My sister took the three big kids to see Frozen this month. They loved it! They especially loved these gigantic Icees that they talked her into buying them!

This sweet boy loves to cook! One morning this month he cooked us breakfast. He made blueberry muffins pretty much all by himself!

Rare but much needed date night with my best friend this month!

The big boys had a hunting camp weekend this month. They came home tired and extremely dirty so I consider that successful.

John Turner is a part of the children's choir at church. They sang a song for the whole church this month. He loves to perform and choir is one of his favorite activities right now.

John Turner has always enjoyed geography. He and I sometimes get our big state puzzle out and do a little state study!

This little one keeps these trains or a set of cars with him at all times.

We spent one beautiful fall afternoon this month playing in piles of leaves. What fun!

Soccer season ended for these cute little Rush Pirates!

Carlton and I got to go watch some Alabama/LSU football! We always enjoy a night of that!

Happenings at John Turner's School

John Turner had two fun events at his school this past month. First, they had a fun dress up day to promote literacy and the book fair. They could dress up as a favorite storybook character. John Turner chose to be Llama, Llama Red Pajama. He was just precious!

Second, the Pre-K hosted Muffins and Mom. It was in honor of the study of the letter "M". It was so much fun being in his classroom and sitting at his desk. He was so incredibly proud that I was there. He also made me the most special presents that I will treasure forever. Based on the answers he gave to the questions, there is no doubt that my boy know he is loved by his momma!

Halloween 2013

Well, the pictures are few this year for Halloween. It rained the entire night of Halloween. But my pirates were super cute and still had fun and got tons of candy!
