John Turner school had a wonderful meet the teacher day before the first day of school. It gave the students time to meet their teachers, look around their classrooms and meet other kids who will be with them in class. We were so fortunate to get there and find out that John Turner's very best friends, Sam and Deck, were also in the same room as him for PreK! We also got extremely lucky in the teacher department! Mrs. Newell is John Turner's PreK teacher and we could not be happier about that. Being a former teacher, I can always tell what kind of teacher one is just by entering their classroom. When I entered Mrs. Newell's that day I could feel the love and the learning all around me! We are excited about PreK at Lamar!!
