Well, our first soccer season has come to a close! These sweet little Longhorns played and won their final game last week! Coach Carlton and Coach Dan were super proud of these boys! To be such little things, they practiced and played their hearts out each week!
I think John Turner enjoyed his first experience of being part of a team. He really enjoyed socializing with his friends more than maybe actually playing! There were also times when he chose to sit on the sidelines and visit with family and friends rather than play on the field! When he did play he was very good and fast. His favorite part of the games was when he got to kick off. He scored in several of his games! We are so proud of him!
He also loved that at the end of each game, the teams ran through a tunnel made by parents and friends. Everyone screamed and cheered when they ran through and he just loved hearing that!
He loved that he was on the same team as his best friend, Deck. They had a great time at each practice and game!
I also thing this was a great experience for Daddy. It was so much fun to watch him coach John Turner and his little friends. We are looking forward to February when our second soccer season begins!
