John Turner is now old enough to participate in the children's activities at church on Wednesday nights. His age group gets to participate in three activities on Wednesday nights: Mission Friends, Children's Choir and Awanas. In Mission Friends, he gets to learn all about missionaries and what they are doing around our country and the world to spread God's word. He LOVES choir! He enjoys music so much. His choir will be performing at church soon and I can't wait! In Awanas, he is a Cubby. He puts on this little Cubby vest and carries his little bag in! It is adorable! I especially love Awanas. He has a memory verse to learn each week. He has done so well with this. I teach it to him one day and he will remember it every day from then on! Smart boy! He earns patches for his vest as he learns his verses. He has already earned his first patch! What a joy it is to watch him learn these Bible verses and stories each week! He is growing in the Lord at such a young age and we feel so blessed by it!
