Story Time with Daddy

This picture makes my heart smile! The boys love a good story in Daddy's lap at bedtime. This is one of my favorite pictures ever!

 

Lamar Elementary Art Gala

John Turner's art teacher hosted an Art Gala at the Meridian Museum of Art. It was fabulous! Every since kid from the elementary school had a piece of art hanging in the museum. We also had the option of purchasing his piece of art for a fundraiser. Of course, we did purchase it! We love it so much! It completely shows his personality at 5 years old! Here's what it says:

My favorite season is fall because I like to jump in the leaves.

I like to eat carrots.

I don't like to eat broccoli.

I want to be a teacher when I grow up.

My favorite color is blue.

Date Night

It is very rare for John Turner and I to be able to go do something by ourselves anymore. Well, one night in April, Judson spent the night with Gran and Daddy was out of town hunting, so we got a date night all to ourselves! He took me to eat at Logan's(his favorite because of the peanuts). We even had dessert! I actually only got one bite of it!

 

 

 

 

Circus

We took the boys over to Jackson to see the circus. They have never been to a big circus before. They had such a good time!

Bicycle Updates

 

Just a little update on these two bike riders. John Turner can now officially ride without training wheels! It took a few weeks of trying and falling and trying again, but he finally got it! I can't believe he is big enough to do this! And little Judson can now ride his tricycle all the way around the neighborhood. He pedals it so fast that it about flips over on him!

It's time for your check up!

 

This boy wants to eat Mexican every day of his life! Which is ironic since the smell of Mexican made me throw up when I was pregnant with him! He is crazy about the cheesy rice!

 

He loves a picnic lunch!

 

And he thinks going fishing with his daddy is the best thing in this world!

 

 

Tree House

These two boys LOVE going with their daddy up to the hunting land to play. John Turner has been asking his daddy to build him a tree house up there for a while now. They finally got started on it in February! John Turner helped with the whole process of building it. The only thing left to do is add windows, doors and paint. I think it will be a place the boys will spend a lot of time over the next few years!
