Random Pics

This is just a post with random pictures I want to have for my book when I print it this year.

Judson got a new bike for his birthday! He LOVES it! Now he can ride his bike around the neighborhood in the afternoons with big brother.

Judson and I love to take morning walks together. It has been so warm lately that we haven't been able to very often. This was one morning this week when the weather was actual cool and we got to take an extra long walk! I love this sweet angel's smile!!!!!

Judson is a little obsessed with reading books! I literally mean he will sit and have you read books to him for hours on end! His favorites are any of the Brown Bear, Brown Bear series. We have them all and read them all many, many times a day! I do love going into his room and finding him surrounded by books and just being content to sit there and read them by himself!

Bath time has gotten to be quite fun around here these days! Judson go his first experience with bubbles recently and he had the best time!

All three of my boys enjoying an afternoon ride on the 4-wheeler.

These were taken one afternoon when we were just playing around the house and being silly! These two totally own my heart!

Daddy went out of town for a work weekend at the hunting camp. John Turner decided that we should have a date night. Well, I couldn't think of anything better than a date night with these two boys! John Turner planned the whole date. First, dinner at Chick-fil-a. Then a trip to Pet Smart to look at the animals (my least favorite store ever!!!) Then we headed to Books-a-Million for some new books.

We ended the night at home with homemade chocolate chip cookies and the movie Bambi.

John Turner's First Day of Preschool 2012

I can not believe that summer is already over and it is time for school again! John Turner will be attending the morning program at our church again this year. He will go each day from 8:30-12:30. He is in the K-3 room this year even though he will turn 4 next month.  Because his birthday falls after September 1st, he will always be the oldest in his class. I am not complaining about it at all! I am so glad he is not starting K-4 at big school this year! I need this next year to get used to that idea!

He was very excited to go back to school and see all of his friends. Luckily, he and all of his friends from last year got to stay together and be in the same class again this year! His new teachers are Mrs. Brandy and Ms. Mallorie. He already loves them after the first week! I know he will have a fabulous last year at HBCDC!

It is just hard to believe how fast this little boy is growing up! This year is going to be full of a lot of new and exciting opportunities for him. He is finally old enough to sign up for soccer, and he is finally old enough to start Mission Friends, Awanas and Children's Choir on Wednesday nights at church.

Judson's First Haircut

Judson's hair has really started to grow! He has a whole lot of white hair! It had started to get long on the ends and around his ears. I decided it was time for him to go and meet Mrs. Cheryl for a trim. We took Gran along for support and so that I could take pictures! He wasn't too sure about her at first!

He finally decided he would let her cut his hair!

Big brother tried to help out by holding up a mirror so that Judson could see himself.

He did really well for his first time at this.

Then, Judson decided he was about done and needed some snuggle time with Gran. It was his nap time by this point.

And at this point, he was ready to be done and to go home!

Big brother jumped up in the chair and showed him how it was done! Gosh, it seems like just yesterday I was holding John Turner down kicking and screaming to get a haircut! Now he just jumps in the chair and acts like it is nothing! I can't believe how much this kid has grown in the past year!
